Job summary

Alcon Singapore Manufacturing Pte Ltd invites an Associate, Mechanical Equipment Engineering to design and develop mechanical equipment for manufacturing processes. You will test, troubleshoot, and collaborate with Technology Transfer and Production Groups to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree with 2–3 years of hands-on equipment experience, plus strong documentation skills and readiness for 24/7 standby support to sustain production uptime.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience with hands-on troubleshooting of process equipment.
• Experience developing, reviewing and managing related documentation.

Responsibilities

• SME for backend engineering equipment and processes, supporting 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Provide oversight on manufacturing processes, process improvements, validation, CAPA, SOP updates.
• Lead in resolving daily operational issues and contribute to OEE/productivity projects.
• Support commissioning and qualification of DSM Flex Expansion project.
• Adhere to GxP regulations; ensure SOPs, GMP and HSE compliance; assist audits and NCIs.
• Liaise with Technology Transfer and Production Groups on new equipment and processes; conduct trainings.
