Job description

Mechanical Engineer | Up to $5.5k | Jurong Island

  • Working hours: 5-days (Mon to Fri) / 8 am to 4.30pm
  • Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided near Jurong East MRT)
  • Salary Range: $4500 - $5500

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) reports to the Senior Technical Manager and whose responsibilities include:

  1. Oversee, manage, and supervise Company’s in-house and external contractors for all mechanical maintenance works related to planning and execution of: (a) daily maintenance [preventive, corrective, & breakdown maintenance], (b) transition maintenance, (c) turnaround maintenance and (d) upgrading and improvement related to maintenance.
  2. Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out in accordance to the Company’s HSEQ Standards & Maintenance Management System, statutory requirements and best industry practices.
  3. Establish, continually improve & execute Company’s maintenance management system in a safe, efficient, and effective way to achieve highest equipment reliability & availability objective.
  4. Update and maintain accurate maintenance records in order to provide good maintenance history for data analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
  5. Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate equipment/ system defect and take appropriate preventive/ corrective measures.
  6. Optimize & manage mechanical maintenance inventory level of critical & non-critical equipment spare parts.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiar with Static and Rotating equipment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Chemical Process Plant.
