Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot TBMs, pumps, and compressor systems used in tunnel construction. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in tunneling or underground construction, with a strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with TBMs, slurry separation, and ventilation systems in tunnelling or underground construction.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot TBMs, pumps, compressors, and slurry systems.
• Oversee installation and upkeep of tunnel ventilation and environmental monitoring systems.
• Support TBM excavation operations and ensure face pressure stability.
• Coordinate with site teams on mechanical interfaces and document maintenance activities.
• Ensure all systems comply with safety regulations.
