Job description
Role Purpose

Responsible for the design, specification, and integration of rotating equipment systems within the FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) design scope, ensuring compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & EngineeringDevelop specifications and datasheets for rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).
    Perform sizing and selection of equipment based on process requirements.
    Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO).
  • Technical CoordinationInterface with process, piping, and structural teams to ensure proper integration of rotating equipment.
    Review vendor documents and provide technical clarifications.
    Participate in design reviews (3D model reviews, HAZOP, etc.).
  • Quality & ComplianceEnsure equipment meets project quality standards and client specifications.
    Support procurement by evaluating technical bids and vendor capabilities.
  • Project SupportAssist in planning and scheduling of mechanical deliverables.
    Provide technical support during fabrication, installation and commissioning phases.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment design for offshore or FPSO projects.
  • Strong knowledge of API, ASME, and other relevant standards.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., Compress, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
