Job summary

POWERCHINA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Mechanical Installation Supervisor to coordinate and oversee onsite mechanical works, ensuring compliance with Singapore standards and project requirements.

You will manage subcontractors and liaise with owners and internal teams to keep projects on track. The role requires a degree/diploma in mechanical engineering, at least 5 years in construction, and strong safety and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical working experience in construction projects.
• Gas turbine power plant experience is advantageous.
• Good command of English for effective communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical installation works onsite to deliver timely and quality project completion.
• Ensure mechanical installation activities comply with Singapore technical standards and acceptance processes to meet regulatory requirements.
• Interpret mechanical installation drawings to guide site construction accurately and prevent errors.

• Manage subcontractors by monitoring work progress and ensuring alignment with project requirements and quality standards.
• Follow Mechanical Department management and project instructions to maintain operational consistency and project alignment.
