Mechanical Engineer

  • Working hours: 5‑days (Mon to Fri) / 8 am to 4.30 pm
  • Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided near Jurong East MRT)
  • Salary Range: $4,500 - $5,500

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) reports to the Senior Technical Manager and whose responsibilities include:

  • 1. Oversee, manage, and supervise company’s in‑house and external contractors for all mechanical maintenance works related to planning and execution of:
    (a) daily maintenance [preventive, corrective, & breakdown maintenance],
    (b) transition maintenance,
    (c) turnaround maintenance and
    (d) upgrading and improvement related to maintenance.
  • 2. Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Standards & Maintenance Management System, statutory requirements and best industry practices.
  • 3. Establish, continually improve & execute company’s maintenance management system in a safe, efficient, and effective way to achieve highest equipment reliability & availability objective.
  • 4. Update and maintain accurate maintenance records in order to provide good maintenance history for data analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
  • 5. Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate equipment/system defect and take appropriate preventive/corrective measures.
  • 6. Optimize & manage mechanical maintenance inventory level of critical & non‑critical equipment spare parts.
