Mechanical Engineer
  • Working hours: 5-days (Mon to Fri) / 8 am to 4.30pm
  • Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided near Jurong East MRT)
  • Salary Range: $4500 - $5500 + AWS + VB + 15 Days AL
Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) reports to the Senior Technical Manager
Responsibilities
  1. Oversee, manage, and supervise Company's in‑house and external Contractors for all mechanical maintenance works related to planning and execution of: (a) daily maintenance [preventive, corrective, & breakdown maintenance], (b) transition maintenance, (c) turnaround maintenance and (d) upgrading and improvement related to maintenance
  2. Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out in accordance to the Company's HSEQ Standards & Maintenance Management System, statutory requirements and best industry practices.
  3. Establish, continually improve & execute Company's maintenance management system in a safe, efficient, and effective way to achieve highest equipment reliability & availability objective.
  4. Update and maintain accurate maintenance records in order to provide good maintenance history for data analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
  5. Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate equipment/ system defect and take appropriate preventive/ corrective measures.
  6. Optimize & manage mechanical maintenance inventory level of critical & non‑critical equipment spare parts.
Requirements
  • Degree in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiar with Static and Rotating equipment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Chemical Process Plant.
