Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee site operations, ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience or be recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering. Qualifications

  • Suitable for candidates with 2 years of relevant experience or fresh graduates.
  • Understanding of ISO compliance is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work at Tuas.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out works scheduling and material requisition.
  • Supervise site works and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely progress of works and compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform QA/QC role and ensure safety compliance.
  • Prepare various reports and documentation.
  • Oversee quality of works and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure project activities comply with ISO system.

Job Description
  • Carry out works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, site supervision and documentation.
  • To supervise the site works and coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
  • Ensure timely and smooth progress of works.
  • To perform QA / QC role on area assigned and to ensure safety regulations are being compiled on site.
  • Prepare various reports & RA (progress report, project handover report and etc.).
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.
  • To ensure quality of works is achieved and safety & environmental regulations are complied with
  • To ensure project activities complied with the Company’s ISO system
Requirements
  • 2 years of relevant experience or fresh University/Poly/ITE graduate
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Working location at Tuas
