A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead and support the design and commissioning of mechanical systems in pharmaceutical production. Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will lead and support the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment in pharmaceutical production facilities, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee installation of mechanical systems (piping, HVAC, utility systems, cleanroom mechanical works).
  • Develop layouts, equipment specifications, and mechanical drawings for project execution.
  • Conduct equipment selection for pumps, compressors, vessels, cleanroom components and utilities.
  • Support FAT/SAT, mechanical completion checks, and qualification activities.
  • Ensure mechanical works meet cGMP, ASME, ISO cleanroom standards, and customer requirements.
  • Investigate mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical, industrial piping, cleanroom, and mechanical systems installation.
  • Familiarity with ASME BPE, ISO 14644, and related industry standards.
  • Strong design, coordination, and troubleshooting abilities.
