Job summary

A construction development firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to oversee M&E work. The candidate will liaise with clients and subcontractors, ensure compliance with specifications, and maintain records. Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E Services is required, along with a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of BIM or AutoCAD is an advantage. This role demands the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience in M&E Services is required.
• Knowledge in Mechanical, ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing/Sanitary Services, and Fire Protection is essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Supervise works according to contract drawings and specifications.
• Prepare correspondence and reports suggesting corrective actions.
• Maintain daily work records including claims to clients.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Liaise and work closely with the consultant, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E work to meet the project schedule.
• To supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications
• Prepare correspondence reports, suggesting corrective actions or value added recommendations according to best practice when applicable,
• Responsible for keeping daily work record, including additional work claim to the clients and from the subcontracts.
• Other ad-hoc duties when assigned

Requirements:

• Min Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing/Sanitary Services, Fire Protection background.
• Min 3 years working experienced and equipped with knowledge in M&E Services (Especially Machanical, ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing/Sanitary Services, Fire Protection) in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledge of BIM or AutoCAD added Advantage
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
