Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of process systems (e.g., reactors, piping networks, HVAC, utilities) and mechanical equipment for pharmaceutical/CDMO facilities.
- Oversee full project lifecycle, from technical specifications and risk assessments to on-site installation, testing, and handover.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore BCA, SCDF, HSA, and ASME standards, as well as GMP/GLP requirements.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct process optimization studies, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and validate installations for operational efficiency.
- Enforce strict adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act guidelines during installation activities.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in process engineering and mechanical installation in pharmaceutical, chemical, or high-precision manufacturing sectors.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale mechanical/process installations (e.g., cleanrooms, utility systems, process automation).
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM, process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD Plant 3D) and P&ID development.
- In-depth knowledge of piping systems, ASME B31.3, HVAC, and pressure vessel standards.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
- Mandarin proficiency is advantageous for regional projects.
