Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with at least 5 years of experience. Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical design drawings, layouts, and schematics using various CAD and 3D modeling software.
• Develop and coordinate mechanical systems and equipment designs in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Manage design documentation, revisions, and project deliverables.
• Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Ensure timely completion of design tasks and assist in resolving on-site or technical issues when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in stage engineering/mechanical systems.
• Proficient in multiple design/drafting software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor, etc.).
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment and system design principles.
• Good project management and coordination skills.
• Able to attend coordination meetings and communicate effectively in fluent spoken and written English.
• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering.
• Degree in related field will be an advantage.
• BIM design skills and familiarity with 3D coordination platforms will be an advantage.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work under tight deadlines.
