Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to design custom automation systems and produce engineering documentation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks. Strong knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams is essential.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Descriptions

• Design custom test handling automation, participate from conceptual design generation to completion.
• Work closely with the project team and with customer to define requirement and generate project specification.
• Produce 3D model design and 2D drawings, and assembly and project related documentation.
• Design and develop automation system including working with manufacturing team, provide support in quality control and delivery goal.
• Collaborate with other engineering team to ensure uniform application of good practice of manufacturing standard.

Job Requirements

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum: 2 years of experience in designing industrial and automation equipment, product assembly and test fixtures.
• Must have good knowledge in engineering calculations.
• Experience in designed part fabrication and assembly control processes.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and calculations.
• Proficiency in 3D/2D design and drafting, particularly for Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Committed and self‑motivated, a good team player and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to travel regionally.
