We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to high-impact engineering solutions.
Strategic Priorities
- Design mechanical systems and equipment in line with project requirements.
- Support assembly and debugging phases to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate closely with Project and Department Managers to align with daily and strategic goals.
- Take on additional responsibilities such as Mechanical Engineer Level 2, Level 3, or Assistant Project Manager, based on project needs and personal growth.
- Participate actively in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to support project timelines and quality.
- Contribute to the improvement and standardization of mechanical engineering practices.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure designs meet budget and schedule expectations.
- Develop mechanical designs for stations based on internal URS and project specifications.
- Support validation and software teams in creating and testing packages aligned with customer requirements.
- Manage ERP entries and monitor delivery schedules.
- Prepare assembly start packages and pneumatic schematics.
- Generate accurate and timely mechanical documentation for customer projects.
Compliance & Regulations
- Adhere to Mikron and customer policies and procedures.
- Comply with Mikron Singapore’s Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations.
Skills & Knowledge
- Proven ability to perform core responsibilities and critical tasks effectively.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of industry-standard engineering practices.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Inventor.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
