Job description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to high-impact engineering solutions.

Strategic Priorities

• Design mechanical systems and equipment in line with project requirements.
• Support assembly and debugging phases to ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaborate closely with Project and Department Managers to align with daily and strategic goals.
• Take on additional responsibilities such as Mechanical Engineer Level 2, Level 3, or Assistant Project Manager, based on project needs and personal growth.
• Participate actively in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with suppliers to support project timelines and quality.
• Contribute to the improvement and standardization of mechanical engineering practices.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure designs meet budget and schedule expectations.
• Develop mechanical designs for stations based on internal URS and project specifications.
• Support validation and software teams in creating and testing packages aligned with customer requirements.
• Manage ERP entries and monitor delivery schedules.
• Prepare assembly start packages and pneumatic schematics.
• Generate accurate and timely mechanical documentation for customer projects.

Compliance & Regulations

• Adhere to Mikron and customer policies and procedures.
• Comply with Mikron Singapore’s Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations.

Skills & Knowledge

• Proven ability to perform core responsibilities and critical tasks effectively.
