Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Calibration Engineer to perform calibration and repair services for various mechanical tools. Job description
Mechanical Calibration Engineer | Up to $4500 | AMK #5252

Perform calibration and repair services for a wide range of mechanical tools and equipment such as torque, pressure, flow and force instruments, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, established calibration standards and procedures, including on-site maintenance and calibration of Vacuum Flow Carts, Fuel Flow System, Engine Test Stands, Digital Torque Testers etc

To ensure timely delivery of completed jobs to meet customer’s service level assurance (SLA)

Perform other laboratory support functions as required in an efficient and organized manner, including additional metrology projects

Participate in external/internal audits as required the System Assurance team

Endeavour to complete all work within the budgeted timeline and target dates and ensure proper control and accounting of work in progress is maintained and reported.

Collaborative in working with the internal and external stakeholders to deliver the required end-to-end calibration processes

Job Requirements

At least Degree in Electronics Engineering or diploma with relevant experience in related field.

Strong knowledge of measurement and metrology principles

Comfortable with technology and IT tools, Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Enterprise Systems (SAP)

Ability to work extended hours when necessary
