Job description
Position Overview

Reporting to the Head of Aftersales, the Mechanic/Senior Mechanic/Head Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles and equipment are maintained and repaired efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a technical Electric Vehicle background, proven leadership abilities, and extensive hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, mechanical repairs, and servicing vehicles in an authorized dealership environment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring overall operation of the garage, including safety, cleanliness and workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform quality control checks before vehicle delivery.
  • Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies or recurring issues in repairs processed; implement root-cause solutions.
  • Responsible for ensuring that vehicles are maintained according to a schedule to minimize breakdowns and maximize performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities and parts usage.
  • Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for maintenance and repairs.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
  • Certification or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic in an Authorized Dealership environment.
  • Certified in Electric Vehicle (EV) technology and possess a valid certification is an advantage.
  • Possess diagnostic and troubleshooting skills of Electric Vehicles is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
