Job summary

A leading tuition centre in Singapore is seeking a Mathematics teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons for Primary students. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of experience, and a strong grasp of the MOE syllabus. Responsibilities include developing materials, monitoring progress, and collaborating with the curriculum team. Evening and weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Primary Mathematics.

About Us

Seashell Education is a PSLE-focused tuition centre specialising in Mathematics, Science, and Chinese for Primary 1–6 students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Math lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus and PSLE requirements.
• Teach both conceptual understanding and problem-solving heuristics.
• Develop high-quality worksheets, practice papers, and revision materials.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to refine teaching materials and methods.
• Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, and centre events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Primary Mathematics in a school or tuition centre.
• Strong knowledge of MOE Mathematics syllabus and PSLE format.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passionate, patient, and able to inspire students.
• Able to work on weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends (morning to afternoon).
