Mission
The teacher's main mission is to help students acquire fundamental knowledge and skills, assist them in mastering a given subject, and develop their curiosity about the world around them.
Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics in middle school.
- Teach digital science and technology in high school.
- Design and implement learning or teaching situations within the framework of French curricula and standards.
- Transmit disciplinary knowledge.
- Design and implement methods for assessing student achievement, in collaboration with other teachers or professional partners.
- Master classroom management and stimulate student interest and participation.
- Provide personalized follow-up for students in conjunction with their families and participate in their career guidance plans.
- Contribute to the functioning of the school and to teamwork.
- Adapt teaching to the diversity of students by providing each with the necessary support and measuring their learning.
- Promote learning through the use of digital technologies.
Required Skills, Experience, and Training
- National Education qualification or equivalent profile.
- Mastery of the subjects taught.
- Experience in secondary education (middle school and high school).
- Knowledge of the French education system.
- Organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Responsiveness and availability.
- Adaptability and kindness.
- Very good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong ability to work in a team and get involved in projects.
- Proficiency in digital tools.
- Ability to adapt to non-French-speaking students and provide teaching tailored to students with very diverse profiles.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and multidisciplinary manner.
- Proficiency in English (level B1 and above) appreciated.
Working Conditions
- 6-month fixed-term contract.
- Part-time position (14 hours/week).
- Remuneration based on qualifications, experience, and the IFS salary scale.
- Start date: January 2026.
