Job summary
A prestigious educational institution in Singapore is seeking a committed teacher to teach Math and deliver inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB frameworks. Candidates should have 2–3 years of teaching experience and strong skills in curriculum planning and communication. IB training is a plus. The role includes participating in school events and building relationships with students and staff.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Strong curriculum planning, teamwork, and communication skills required.
- IB training or experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Teach Math (36 periods/week).
- Deliver inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB MYP/DP frameworks.
- Collaborate with Student Support to enrich learning.

Teaching Duties
- Teach Math (36 periods/week).
- Deliver inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB MYP/DP frameworks and subject goals.
- Collaborate with Student Support to enrich learning and differentiate instruction based on student needs.
- Promote culturally and linguistically responsive teaching.
Non-Teaching Duties
- Follow school policies and expectations.
- Participate in school events, field trips, meetings, and training outside regular hours.
- Supervise students during breaks and other non-classroom times.
- Lead or support a co-curricular activity (CCA).
- Provide class cover when needed and complete other assigned duties.
- Join school committees or improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a homeroom teacher if assigned.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Foster positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues.
- Represent the school positively in the wider community.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
