Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an Engineer - Planning (Materials and Spares) to manage spares and materials forecasts for Fab tools.

You will collaborate with Fab Process teams to ensure stock levels, liaise with Procurement, and support budgeting and cost benchmarking. The role emphasizes building BOMs, forecast models, and AI-enabled enhancements to improve forecast accuracy and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent).
• Proficient in Python (Pandas), SQL and/or Web App Development.
• Strong grasp of statistics and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good teamwork and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Interest in semiconductor industry and Micron technology.
• Ability to apply digital fluency and AI literacy to tools and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Build of Material and maintenance planning models for assigned Fab areas.
• Forecast requirements and accuracy to prevent inventory shortages or material expiry.
• Coordinate with Procurement on stocking levels and with Finance on budgeting and cost benchmarking.
• Design and coordinate projects to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.
• Interface with R&D and Process Engineering to build BOM and forecast platforms.
• Develop reporting and automation to improve processes and integrate AI-enabled insights.
