Job summary

Agilent Technologies, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Compliance & Materials Engineer to join the Global Operations team.

You will handle supplier qualification, sourcing, and purchasing of components, collaborating with NPI Engineering, Procurement and Production Engineering on operational and quality improvements. The role focuses on driving cost reductions, managing supplier performance, and ensuring materials comply with evolving regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
8 years of relevant experience in mechanical & electro-mechanical or electrical parts procurement engineering environment, supplier quality management, and/or product engineering, manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in sourcing, procurement, process engineering or supplier quality management in an MNC manufacturing environment.
Familiar with mechanical & electrical parts manufacturing/fabrication processes or standard design specification with good analytical skills on DFx.

Responsibilities

Supplier Management: Manage assigned commodities and suppliers to meet quality, cost, delivery performance, and schedule.
Perform regular performance reviews and collaborate with suppliers on value enhancement opportunities.
Champion problem solving and root cause analysis with suppliers and manufacturing to eliminate non-conformances.
Develop long-term supplier relationships and implement global procurement strategies.
