The role involves specimen preparation, data analysis, SOP development, and collaboration with researchers while maintaining safety, records, and inventory.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication and laboratory management skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multidisciplinary research.
• Experience in atom probe tomography, FIB, electron microscopy or other materials characterization is advantageous.
• Good attitude, self-motivated, team player.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the Invizo 6000 APT system for safe, reliable instrument performance.
• Manage day-to-day facility operations including user scheduling and access.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and coordinate vendor maintenance.
• Prepare and characterize specimens for APT analysis, including FIB prep.
• Provide technical support and training on APT operation and data acquisition.
• Process, reconstruct, and analyze APT datasets and assist users in data interpretation.
• Develop SOPs and best practices for APT experiments.
• Maintain laboratory safety, records, consumables, and inventory.
• Support collaborative research projects involving APT and other characterizations.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, publications, and grant proposals.
• Promote facility utilization through user engagement, workshops, and outreach.
• Perform other research and facility duties as assigned.
