Job summary

A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a skilled warehouse operator to manage inventory and ensure efficient material handling. The ideal candidate will possess experience in warehouse operations and a valid forklift license. Responsibilities include receiving materials, maintaining storage, and coordinating deliveries. This position offers a 1-year contract with a salary of up to $2600 plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec/Diploma or relevant higher education is a plus.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or material handling is required.
• Valid Forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Prepare records of material transactions.
• Coordinate timely delivery of materials with other departments.
• Implement proper storage and handling procedures.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Overview

• Period: 1 year contract (renewal/ convertible)
• Location: Boon Lay
• Working Hours: 7:30am-5:15pm + OT
• Salary: Up to $2600 + OT + Completion Bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of consignment against purchase orders
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient material handling and retrieval
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed to prevent stockouts
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy
• Prepare and maintain records of material transactions, including receipts, issues, and transfers
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials to support production needs
• Implement and enforce proper storage and handling procedures to prevent damage or loss of materials
• Ad-hoc task given by Manager/Supervisor

Job Requirements

• Minimum Nitec/Diploma or relevant higher education (e.g., Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management) is a plus.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or material handling
• Valid Forklift license preferred.
