Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an experienced administrative support professional to manage sales support and material control functions in the engineering sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup, including site visits. Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in material control, sales support, office administration, coordination, or customer service in Engineering/Construction industry.
  • Experience in power business or power plant operations is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup, including site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and sales support, including preparing quotations, contracts, reports, and presentations.
  • Organize meeting logistics, travel arrangements, and visa applications.
  • Maintain document control systems and ensure compliance.
  • Manage inventory control and inspections of power plant parts.
  • Coordinate logistics for maintenance events.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and sales support, including preparing quotations, contracts, reports, and presentations.
  • Organize meeting logistics, travel arrangements, visa applications, and site access permits.
  • Prepare agendas, record meeting minutes, and track follow‑up actions.
  • Generate purchase orders, process invoicing and monitor payment status.
  • Coordinate shipping documentation maintain accurate records of customer data and parts usage.
  • Manage inventory control and inspections of power plant parts; ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Coordinate logistics, pre‑packing, and shipping documentation for maintenance events.
  • Expedite parts readiness and support maintenance activities, including damage checks and corrective actions.
  • Plan and coordinate scheduling, manpower, tools, and consumables for maintenance.
  • Monitor customer purchasing and after‑sales needs and share insights with the team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in material control, sales support, office administration, coordination, or customer service in Engineering/Construction industry.
  • Experience in power business or power plant operations is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup, including site visits (e.g., Jurong Island).
