Job summary

The Master at V.Ships Asia Group Pte. Ltd. is responsible for the overall command of the ship, safety, security of the vessel, crew, cargo and environment while operating in Singapore waters and international waters.

He must ensure compliance with SOLAS, ISM and the VMS, and motivate the crew to observe these policies. Key duties include leadership of the Shipboard Management Team, maintaining certifications, conducting safety meetings, supervising cargo operations, monitoring ballast and

Qualifications

• Must hold Master CoC recognised by the Singapore flag.
• Valid Singapore Pilotage Exemption Certificate is required.
• Strong leadership and experience in onboard crew management.
• Proficiency in ECDIS and STCW safety/cargo training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall command and safe navigation of the vessel.
• Ensure compliance with SOLAS, ISM and company VMS.
• Lead safety, security, and environmental protection onboard.
• Supervise cargo operations and stability planning.
