Job summary

SINWEB MANPOWER PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled carpenter to read blueprints, take precise measurements, and cut, shape, and install lumber and other materials. You will assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and related items at designated locations, and inspect places for repairs or maintenance.

The ideal candidate has proven carpentry experience, strong math skills, and a solid understanding of safety guidelines. Weekend and public holidays availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as carpenter.
• Hands-on experience with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and installation methods.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Good understanding of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated.
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
