Overview
Our client is an international NGO that focuses on the development of children living in poverty. It is a humanitarian aid organisation that operates in multiple countries globally and is expanding their presence in the Asia region.
This newly created position is based in Singapore and reports to the Head of Marketing. This role will lead the marketing plans and end-to-end campaigns for the Asia region (key countries being Singapore and the Philippines) as the organisation expands its fundraising channels into new countries. This role is essential for utilizing marketing to penetrate new countries, creating and delivering localised marketing strategies and ensuring alignment with regional business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and Prioritisation:
- Collaborate with country fundraising leads to develop the Partnership and Marketing Plan to deliver ambitious growth targets through B2B, B2C and B2B2C programs;
- Lead the planning of the Asia Marketing program to drive Brand Awareness, Consideration and Acquisition in the local context for each country;
- Stay on top of market research and insights to inform strategies.
End-to-End Campaign Execution:
- Lead the planning of insight led, multi-channel campaigns and events across the Asia portfolio that achieve the objectives and targets of the organisation;
- Manage campaigns across the full end to end cycle including identifying insights, setting performance targets, briefing, concepting, testing, approvals, launch, reporting, recommendations and optimisation;
- Lead the cross functional engagement of campaign delivery across all aspects of Marketing including Brand, Events, PR, Digital Marketing.
Brand Management:
- Ensure all new countries, suppliers and team members are trained in brand guidelines;
- Ensure all marketing efforts reflect the brand guidelines.
Marketing Collateral Production & Localisation:
- Product region specific marketing materials;
- Ensure that content is culturally relevant and resonates with target audiences in each market;
- Localise global content for regional markets, maintaining brand consistency and tone of voice;
- Will need to be on tools in drafting marketing materials and operating at different levels, consistent with a start-up phase.
Campaign Reporting and Performance:
- Measure, report and optimise the performance of marketing campaigns against regional targets, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Budget Management:
- Forecast and manage budget and resource requirements for the Asia portfolio and campaigns ensuring programs and campaigns are commercially sound;
- Manage campaigns to budget and scope to achieve KPIs and ROI.
Marketing Leadership:
- Key marketing lead and subject matter expert for the Asia region;
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practice Marketing.
Stakeholder Management and Account Management:
- Marketing stakeholder lead for Asia region
- Vendor selection in local Asian markets
- Manage relationships with creative, digital, PR agencies
- Manage relationships and workflow with outsourced parties
- Dotted line management of internal staff executing key marketing responsibilities (Community Manager, Narrative/Art/Film Staff)
- Other duties consistent with the position where required and/or requested from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years in marketing in Marketing with strong Brand and Acquisition experience, preferably in a regional or international setting
- Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver measurable results
- Prior experience in managing agencies or external parties
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing and the use of paid, owned and earned media with proven experience in developing and executing multi-channel integrated strategies
- Experience with marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, social media management tools (Sprout Social), email platforms, CRM systems (Raisely, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud).
- Creative problem solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality
- Strong project management and campaign delivery skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and team collaboration skills
- A collaborative, proactive approach to teamwork with a customer-first mindset.
