We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Director who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, and excels at managing multiple brands simultaneously.

This role leads the full spectrum of marketing functions — from brand strategy, campaign planning, and budgeting to content creation, digital performance marketing, generating leads, fostering audience growth and retail promotions — across a portfolio of beauty and wellness brands.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a doer: capable of developing big-picture strategies while personally driving execution in areas such as lead generation, digital ads, content creation, PR, CRM, and campaign rollout. You must have a proven track record of achieving significant ROI, lead generation, and audience growth in previous roles.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Strategy, Planning & Budgeting
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for multiple brands, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.
  • Oversee campaign planning, channel selection, and media mix to drive brand growth and maximize ROI.
  • Manage and monitor marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal allocation of resources.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, including ROI analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations for management.
2. Digital Marketing (Execution & Optimization)
  • Personally manage and execute Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid campaigns, including setup, targeting, optimization, and reporting.
  • Oversee and execute SEO/SEM strategies, including keyword research, content optimization, and landing page improvements.
  • Plan, design, and run email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.) with audience segmentation, automation, and A/B testing.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance across all platforms using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and similar dashboards.
  • Constantly test and optimize creative assets, messaging, and digital funnels for performance improvement.
  • Drive lead generation initiatives through effective implementation of lead capture strategies, lead nurturing campaigns, and marketing automation techniques.
3. Brand, Content & Social Media Management
  • Lead and execute content planning, copywriting, and creative direction for all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain each brand’s visual identity and storytelling direction to ensure consistency and authenticity.
  • Write and distribute press releases, lead media pitching efforts, and manage relationships with press, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Execute influencer marketing initiatives — from selection and negotiation to content approval and performance evaluation.
  • Manage community engagement, respond to audience interactions, and maintain an active social presence for each brand.
4. Retail Marketing & CRM
  • Plan and lead in-store campaigns, product launches, joint promotions, premium gift-with-purchase (GWP) activities, and partnership collaborations.
  • Conceptualise and execute CRM programs and loyalty initiatives to enhance customer engagement and retention.
  • Design and execute member-exclusive campaigns and targeted communications based on customer insights.
  • Work closely with Retail Operations to ensure campaign consistency, strong store visibility, and promotional effectiveness.
5. Public Relations, Partnerships & Events
  • Develop and maintain strong media, influencer, and partner relationships to increase brand visibility and credibility.
  • Plan, manage, and personally oversee press events, product launches, and roadshows to ensure seamless execution.
  • Identify and secure brand collaborations, sponsorships, and co-marketing opportunities that align with business goals.
6. Market Intelligence & Analysis
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and threats.
  • Translate consumer and market insights into actionable strategies that drive brand relevance and differentiation.
  • Monitor industry trends and continuously propose new marketing approaches to stay ahead of the curve.
7. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team by setting clear goals, providing guidance, and ensuring accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to align marketing efforts with broader business strategies.
  • Oversee vendor management, media agencies, and freelancers to ensure quality, timelines, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Promote a culture of creativity, agility, and continuous improvement within the marketing department.
8. Hands-On Creative & Operational Involvement
  • Actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions, content production, and campaign ideation.
  • Provide creative direction on visuals, copywriting, photography, and video production — while being directly involved in execution where needed.
  • Support the marketing team during peak campaigns, events, or tight deadlines by taking a hands-on role in implementation.
  • Ensure all marketing outputs meet quality standards, accuracy, and brand guidelines.
9. Reporting & Governance
  • Track campaign results, marketing KPIs, and sales impact to evaluate effectiveness and guide decision-making.
  • Oversee procurement processes, vendor contracts, and marketing expenditure to maintain transparency and control.
  • Establish SOPs and ensure all marketing activities comply with company policies, data privacy laws, and advertising standards.

Requirements:

Experience & Background
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant marketing experience in a multi-brand role, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven success in both strategic planning and hands-on digital marketing execution, lead generation, audience growth.
  • Prior experience in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or retail industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of multi-brand management and integrated marketing.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO/SEM, CRM, and email automation tools.
  • Experienced in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and digital performance tracking.
  • Strong command of content creation, campaign storytelling, and social media engagement.
  • Familiarity with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and data-driven marketing.
  • Proficiency in using various marketing channels and platforms, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and traditional advertising.
