Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and experienced Marketing Director to lead our marketing initiatives in the Steel Structure Construction Sector. The candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies, strengthening brand visibility, and supporting business development for structural steel fabrication, erection, and project delivery. This role requires strong industry understanding, leadership capability, and the ability to collaborate with project and engineering teams to drive commercial growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree specialized in Marketing is mandatory.
- Master’s degree specialized in Marketing is mandatory.
- Minimum 7 years of full-time experience in Marketing in the Steel Structure industry, including campaign planning, strategic marketing, or B2B marketing.
- Proven track record in leading marketing programs that directly support business development or project acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore construction and steel structure ecosystem, including client segments and procurement landscape.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams or cross-functional marketing initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand technical product/service capabilities and convert them into market strategies.
- Strong analytical ability; capable of using data and industry insights to drive marketing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long-term marketing strategies to expand business opportunities across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and public sector projects.
- Lead market research, competitive analysis, and sector forecasting to identify client demands and emerging market trends.
- Design marketing programs to showcase company competencies in steel design, fabrication, welding, installation, project delivery, and quality assurance.
- Manage digital marketing, corporate branding, capability presentations, and offline marketing initiatives.
- Build productive relationships with main contractors, consultants, government bodies, and key industry stakeholders.
- Support tender submissions through value‑proposition development, case studies, capability statements, and project portfolios.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Business Development, Engineering, Operations) to align marketing efforts with project pipelines.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, define KPIs, and monitor measurable outcomes.
- Manage marketing budgets, vendor partnerships, and external service providers to ensure effective ROI.
