1. Strategic Leadership & Brand Management
- Define and lead the overall marketing and communications strategy to align with business objectives.
- Position the organisation’s brand identity, voice, and key messages consistently across all platforms.
- Set measurable KPIs for brand awareness, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Safeguard and evolve corporate reputation and public perception.
2. Agency & Vendor Management
- Act as the main liaison with the appointed social media agency.
- Develop clear briefs, campaign objectives, and content pillars for the agency to execute.
- Review, approve, and refine the agency’s proposed social media calendars, content, and creatives.
- Monitor agency performance against KPIs (reach, engagement, conversions) and hold them accountable.
- Coordinate with other vendors (e.g., PR agencies, production houses, media partners).
3. Communications & PR
- Lead internal and external communications, including press releases, media engagement, crisis comms.
- Manage stakeholder communications (government agencies, partners, clients).
- Draft and oversee key corporate communication materials: speeches, reports, newsletters, memos.
4. Campaign Planning & Execution Oversight
- Oversee development of integrated marketing campaigns (online + offline).
- Ensure consistency between social media campaigns (run by agency) and other marcomms channels (events, PR, OOH, partnerships).
- Drive annual marketing calendar and coordinate cross-channel activations.
5. Content Strategy & Corporate Materials
- Set content direction for all owned platforms (website, EDMs, brochures, corporate decks).
- Oversee production of corporate videos, photoshoots, and marketing collaterals (outsourced as needed).
- Ensure messaging consistency across digital, print, and in-person touchpoints.
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Consolidate reports from agency (social media) and internal campaigns into management dashboards.
- Analyse ROI, audience insights, and campaign learnings to inform future strategies.
- Present regular performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
7. Team Leadership & Internal Coordination
- Supervise in-house Marcomms staff (if any) on any other assigned tasks.
- Work with HR on employer branding and staff communications.
- Support other departments with marcomms needs (partnership/sponsorship decks, announcements, memos, collaterals).
8. Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage annual marketing budget.
- Allocate resources between in-house (if any), agencies, and outsourced vendors efficiently.
- Evaluate cost-effectiveness of campaigns and renegotiate contracts if needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and consumer behaviour.
- Excellent project management and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in managing external agencies and vendors.
- Design Proficiency: Skilled in design software (e.g. Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, WordPress).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
