Role Overview:
As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the marketing team in bringing campaigns and creative ideas to life. You’ll be hands-on in designing marketing materials, updating digital marketing content, and assisting in events. This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in graphic design and an eagerness to learn and grow in marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Coordination & Support
- Assist in day-to-day marketing operations and campaign rollouts.
- Coordinate timelines and liaise with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
- Help prepare marketing materials and keep content up to date across platforms.
2. Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Design and adapt digital and print collaterals such as social media posts, banners, eDMs, posters, and in-store point-of-sale materials.
- Maintain brand consistency across all design work.
- Support basic photography and video editing for marketing use.
3. Social Media & Digital Updates
- Schedule and upload content on social media platforms according to the marketing calendar.
- Update website banners and simple ecommerce content as guided.
- Monitor posts for engagement and feedback, and report to the team.
4. Event & Promotion Support
- Assist in setting up and supporting marketing events, in-store activations, and promotions.
- Help with logistics and simple customer engagement during events.
- Provide photo documentation and assist in post-event reports.
5. Administrative Tasks
- Organize and maintain marketing files, creative assets, and content libraries.
- Support preparation of basic campaign reports and data tracking.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of relevant working experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Well-versed in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva.
- Good understanding of design fundamentals, layout, and visual aesthetics.
- Familiar with social media platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- A proactive team player with a willingness to learn.
- Interest in the retail and F&B industry is an advantage.
