Job summary

Coinhako in the heart of Singapore's CBD seeks a Market Risk Specialist to monitor and manage risk across Spot and Derivatives products, assessing pricing, volatility, liquidity and counterparty exposure, and to help embed risk controls with Trading, Product and Engineering teams. You will develop risk frameworks, conduct stress testing, and provide insights to senior management.

Data skills (Excel; Python/SQL) are a plus, and prior crypto market experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in market risk / trading risk / financial risk.
• Strong understanding of Spot and Derivatives markets.
• Familiar with options, structured products, or earn/yield products.
• Ability to assess volatility, liquidity and counterparty risks.
• Translate data into actionable risk insights.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Monitor and manage market risks across Spot and Derivatives products
• Assess risks in new and existing products (pricing, volatility, liquidity, counterparty exposure)
• Develop and enhance risk frameworks, limits, and monitoring processes

What we\'re looking for:

• Experience in market risk / trading risk / financial risk
• Strong understanding of Spot and Derivatives markets
• Exposure to one or more:
  • Options
  • Structured products
  • Earn / yield products
• Ability to assess volatility, liquidity, and counterparty risks
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable risk insights

Nice to Have

• Hands-on data skills (e.g. Excel; Python/SQL is a plus but not required)
• Experience in crypto or digital assets markets
• Familiarity with options or non-linear products
• Exposure to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) or firm-wide risk governance
• Background in quantitative methods (e.g. VaR, stress testing)
