Job summary

Asia Advance Human Resource is seeking a Finance Cost Controller for vessels, marine and offshore operations in Singapore. You will monitor and optimize vessel operating costs, perform daily tracking and variance analysis, and share insights to improve cost performance.

The role covers cost tracking, budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement while collaborating with operational teams and accounting. Flexible to hybrid work with monthly home-working allowances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in operational controlling (maritime/industry preferred).

Responsibilities

• Cost tracking, variance analysis for vessel costs and spend.
• Review PO, invoices, and backlog monthly; track variances.
• Provide concise reports and propose corrective actions.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for vessels and operations.
• Coordinate with accounting on accruals and provisions.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of reported figures.
• Improve cost reporting tools and processes.
