Job description
JOB SCOPE
  • Handle vessel maintenance and repair.
  • Maintenance of vessel documentations on board and in office.
  • Planning of daily, weekly and monthly vessel schedules.
  • Coordinate and create vessel berthing plans in Singapore.
  • Preparation of vessel fuel consumption per monthly/voyage.
  • Communicate with crew on board vessel with regards to any vessel related matters.
  • Communicate with various authorities on vessel related matters (MPA, ICA, PSA, Jurong Port).
  • Coordinate vessel arrival and departure in Singapore.
  • Handle of crew salary and food allowances.
  • Liaise with customers with regards to vessel specifications and/or technical issues.
  • Handle and liaise with suppliers on vessel requisitions (inventories, bunkers. fresh water).
  • Liaise with foreign agents on vessel arrival to foreign ports.
  • Monthly upkeep of vessel ISM/1SPS/MLC on board and in office.
  • Planning of vessel Annual, Intermediate and Renewal Surveys, including radio and safety equipment maintenance.
  • Handle monthly vessel inspections.
  • Inspection of vessel mooring landing/mooring sites.
  • Attend vessel inspection and surveys.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
