Job summary

A crane service specialist in Singapore is seeking a Parts Sales Executive/Coordinator to assist with order processing, coordinate global deliveries, and manage supplier relationships. Ideal candidates should be Singaporeans with previous purchasing experience, strong skills in Microsoft Office, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to learn about hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical parts while ensuring customer order fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • Previous purchasing experience, preferably in the marine, port, or construction industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook.
  • Able to adapt and cope within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Parts Sales Manager and Executives with order processing.
  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers globally and ensure prompt deliveries.
  • Manage local deliveries and arrange shipments globally.
  • Coordinate between customers, suppliers, warehouse & forwarders.

ALATAS Crane Services Worldwide is a worldwide operating crane service specialist and offers crane related services and parts supply in the Ship-, Offshore-, and Construction industry.

With our global set-up of 14 offices worldwide, we offer field service, provide technical solutions for emergency repairs, large scale overhauls, load testing, inspections, component repairs, spare parts supply as well as supply of new cranes and upgrades to existing ones.

Our specialized Crane Service Engineers are professionals in their field and are available attend to crane problems throughout the world.

As a member of our spare parts sales department, and to support order processing, we are employing Parts Sales Executives/Coordinators as follows:

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Assist Parts Sales Manager and Parts Sales Executives with order processing
  • Issuing purchase orders to suppliers globally & ensure prompt deliveries
  • Manage local deliveries and arrange shipments globally
  • Coordinate between customers, suppliers, our warehouse & forwarders and ensure smooth order execution
  • Ensure cost efficiency in deliveries & freight
  • Prepare documents for invoicing
  • Secondary duties may be assigned to support professional development
REQUIREMENTS
  • Singaporeans only
  • Previous purchasing experience, preferably in the marine-, port or construction industry
  • Interested in learning hydraulic, mechanical & electrical parts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Outlook
  • Able to adapt to and cope within a fast-paced environment
  • Independent, responsible & driven to close Customers orders
