Modern Automation and Engineering – North Singapore

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of marine equipment and control systems onboard vessels at anchorage, port, shipyard, or company workshops.
  • Prepare detailed technical service reports, including maintenance records, fault findings, and recommendations for spare parts and future servicing.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Travel at short notice to attend vessels within the region, and occasionally internationally.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations and technical team to ensure smooth execution of service jobs.
  • Ensure full compliance with company safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by supervisors, as required.
Qualifications
  • Prior experiences in marine engineering or marine technical support roles is highly preferred.
  • Min. Higher Nitec in relevant engineering fields.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • Possessing the physical stamina to board vessels frequently.
  • Having an analytical and open mind, and being self‑driven.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and knowledge.
  • A valid driving license.
  • English literacy is a MUST.
  • Willing to work after office hours, weekends and holidays.
