Marine Service Engineer

Salary: 3,000 SGD ~ 3,500 SGD

Job Description: Our client is a leading Japanese boiler manufacturer providing innovative solutions in heat energy, water treatment, and environmental technologies. They are seeking a Marine Service Engineer to join their dynamic team in Singapore. This position reports to the Chief Engineer.

  • Attend onboard assignments for repair and maintenance of boilers, incinerators, ballast water systems, and other related equipment.
  • Prepare service quotations and submit them to customers.
  • Issue sales slips and related service documentation.
  • Prepare technical and service reports for submission to the Chief Engineer.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide after‑sales technical support.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in shipyard environments, marine industry, or marine vessel operations.
  • Proficient in English for effective communication with customers and counterparts.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands‑on experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Willing to travel occasionally within ASEAN countries (approximately 1–2 times per month for 2–4 days per trip).
  • Willing to work beyond standard hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving License (advantageous).
