Job description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Marine Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts across key ports and shipping markets. This role requires someone with strong industry knowledge, excellent client relationship skills, and a deep understanding of marine operations, particularly in the underwater maintenance sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the shipping, offshore, and maritime industries.
  • Promote and sell underwater ship husbandry services such as hull cleaning, propeller polishing, and underwater inspections to vessel owners, operators, and ship management companies.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with shipowners, technical managers, port agents, and classification societies.
  • Lead contract negotiations, prepare proposals, and respond to tenders or RFQs.
  • Analyze customer needs and work with operations to tailor service packages.
  • Provide after-sales support and ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and port activities to identify opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, port meetings, and client events.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and contribute to commercial strategy development.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales or commercial experience in the marine services sector.
  • Solid understanding of ship husbandry, hull performance, or underwater maintenance services.
  • Existing network with shipping companies, vessel operators, or port authorities is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
