Job summary

A leading gas detection company in Singapore is looking for a Sales Executive to develop and maintain relationships with Ship-Owners and related parties. Candidates should have a Diploma in Business or Sales and Marketing and 1-2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in gas detection products. This role has a focus on customer satisfaction and requires local and regional travel. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in sales of gas detection products.
  • Experience with Ship-owners, Ship Managers, and related personnel is an advantage.
  • Able to start work immediately or at short notice is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accounts with Ship-Owners and related parties.
  • Build customer contact for high satisfaction levels.
  • Negotiate with customers and close sales efficiently.
  • Generate monthly sales reports and forecasts.
  • Prepare action plans to secure sales leads.
  • Engage in local and overseas entertainment for customer relations.
  • Coordinate meetings with potential clients.
  • Handle marine-related exhibitions and events.

We are a leading gas detection equipment company servicing for the Marine, Offshore Production & Shipping, Oil & Gas Refining, Semiconductor Manufacturing & Institution Laboratories.

Due to our development and rapid expansion, we are actively searching for qualified and committed individuals to join our workforce.

Responsibilities
  • To develop, establish and maintain existing and new account with Ship-Owners, Ship Managers, Superintendent and Ship Chandlers.
  • Build and maintain contact with all customers to ensure high level of customers satisfaction.
  • Handle customer negotiation, follow up on enquiries and closing of sales in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Generate monthly sales report, forecasts and market information.
  • Prepare and execute action plans for effective secure of sales leads and prospects.
  • Sales hunting.
  • Local and overseas entertainment to upkeep customer relation.
  • Coordinates meetings with potential clients and responds to incoming emails and phone inquiries.
  • Handle marine related exhibition and other related marine events.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Job scope / Requirements
  • Min Diploma in Business / Sales and Marketing
  • Must have 1 to 2 years’ experience in sales of gas detection products.
  • Experience in handling and communicating with Ship-owners, Ship Managers, Superintendent and Ship Chandlers is an added advantage
  • This position will involve local and regional travel (30% overseas travel).
