Developing Sales Strategy & Execution
- Drive Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the project and customer pipeline.
Customer Acquisition & Contracting:
- Lead customer acquisition efforts, manage the sales cycle, and negotiate commercial contracts effectively.
- Proposal Development: Prepare competitive proposals and offers tailored to customer and project needs.
- Budget Contribution: Support sales budget planning by forecasting order intake, revenue, and contribution margins.
Client Account & Relationship Management
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers to ensure long-term business success.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient sales coordination, service order handling, and on-time delivery.
- Market & Business Development: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Business Case Evaluation: Assess the viability of new markets, customer segments, and product lines to support strategic expansion.
- Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage partnerships to extend market reach and create new revenue streams.
- Channel & Cross-functional Coordination: Dealer Network Expansion - Build and manage a high-performing dealer network to increase market coverage and penetration.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, especially Finance and Service, to ensure contract compliance, service delivery, and seamless execution.
Additional Duties
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall business objectives.
Requirements
- At least a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Industry Experience: Preference of having min. 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the marine, offshore, or mechanical engineering sectors.
- Fresh graduates will be considered.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets using a consultative and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to operate effectively both independently as a self-starter and within cross-functional project teams.
- Capable of navigating complex business environments and making sound decisions that drive commercial results.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to manage time and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
