Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end cargo operations including vessel scheduling, port coordination, loading/discharge activities, and blending processes to ensure timely and quality execution of voyages.
  • Track vessel performance, bunker consumption, and voyage profitability; ensure regulatory compliance, conduct vessel vetting, and manage documentation with surveyors and inspectors.
  • Investigate cargo quantity/quality discrepancies, implement loss mitigation strategies, and handle laytime calculations, demurrage, and claims to safeguard operational efficiency.
  • Generate voyage P/L reports, maintain operational statistics, identify cost drivers, and collaborate with internal teams to support business decisions and continuous improvement.
