Job summary

Job Express Services Pte. Ltd. in Jurong is seeking a Marine / HSE Manager to lead the marine safety and HSE function across the fleet.

You will conduct vessel inspections, oversee safety drills, advise Masters on navigational matters, and fulfil the DPA role while ensuring compliance with Class, Flag State and SIRE requirements. The role includes crew management, recruitment, training, and emergency response participation, with a salary of SGD 6,500–7,500 per month and company transport from JE

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE function with emphasis on marine safety, security, accidents and incident investigations.
• Conduct regular vessel inspections, shipboard meetings and safety drills.
• Advise Masters on marine HSE and navigational matters; perform the DPA role.
• Ensure vessels comply with Class, Flag State and SIRE requirements and attend inspections.
• Coordinate vessel dry-docking, repairs and maintenance inspections.
• Support deck department procurement, vessel consumables and delivery arrangements.
• Identify training needs and conduct induction/training programmes for shipboard and shore-based personnel.
• Monitor the competency and performance of Masters, Chief Officers and deck crew.
• Manage crewing matters including recruitment, deployment, welfare, certification, performance reviews and disciplinary matters.
• Participate as part of the Emergency Response Team.
• Perform other fleet management duties as assigned by Management.

Salary: $6,500 - $7,500 per month

Working Days: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Location: Jurong / Company Transport Provided from JE MRT

• Identify training needs and conduct induction/training programmes for shipboard and shore-based personnel.
• Monitor the competency and performance of Masters, Chief Officers and deck crew.
