Job summary

Baker Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced electrical engineer for marine/offshore projects. You will design single line diagrams, size cables and breakers, and review vendor proposals to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.

Responsibilities include material take-off, equipment foundations, and interfaces with navigation, LAN, and safety systems. Site visits and coordination with contractors are expected to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in marine/offshore sectors or 6+ years in marine/offshore if diploma not held.
• Familiarity with Marine & Offshore rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce single line diagrams for electrical/instrument systems.
• Size cables and breakers per applicable rules; review vendor proposals.
• Prepare material take-offs for power, control cables, trays and equipment.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve onsite technical issues and schedule deliverables.
• Perform site visits to verify conditions and support construction.
