Applications are now open for the Asia LEAD Program (Leadership, Experience, Advocacy, and Development), August 2026 intake – our signature graduate program designed to give you the skills, experiences, and network to thrive in the insurance and financial services industry.

As part of the Actuarial Track, you’ll apply your analytical expertise to tackle complex challenges and influence financial decisions. Through rotational assignments , structured learning , and opportunities to advocacy experiences , you’ll gain broad exposure across core actuarial functions and build a strong foundation for your career.

Position Responsibilities
  • Engage in three six-month rotations across key business and specialist areas, starting with a welcome induction by the Talent Management Team.
  • Develop leadership skills with a multifaceted program tailored to advance entry-level talent into future leadership roles, in line with Manulife’s vision and values.
  • Receive regular feedback through performance reviews and individual presentations at the end of each rotation.
  • Build a strong internal network by joining the Colleague Network, aligning with company values, and contributing to meaningful projects.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a discipline relevant to actuarial science (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related fields). Demonstrated progress toward actuarial certification.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of working experience. Relevant internship or work experience within insurance or financial institutions is desirable. Engagement in social work and extracurricular activities is valued.
  • Career Aspirations: A passion for developing a career in the corporate insurance sector, with a readiness to make a meaningful impact.
  • Skills: Demonstrated creativity and innovation, along with superior communication and interpersonal skills.
