The role tests electro-mechanical assemblies, identifies faults, and ensures all units meet quality and safety standards before leaving the line. The position requires a Technical Diploma in engineering or related discipline; no minimum experience is required though experience in testing/manufacturing is a plus.
Raise Business Solutions Singapore Pte. Ltd. will be your potential employer of record (EOR). You’ll work as a contractor with Raise, on assignment at Applied Materials, Tampines/Upper Changi.
Initial 12-month contract with Raise, with the opportunity to extend. If you’re offered a permanent role, you’ll be hired directly by Applied Materials.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician – Tester to join our Singapore manufacturing operations. You will test electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, identify faults, and make sure all units meet quality and safety standards before they leave the production line. This role requires a strong foundation in technical testing methods and a commitment to a safe and orderly work environment.
Applied Materials determines the pay rate in your final offer, based on your qualifications and relevant experience.
This role is hands-on and can be physically demanding. It may involve standing for extended periods, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, working in confined spaces, and operating heavy machinery. Work may take place in a clean-room environment requiring appropriate PPE such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
Normal color vision is needed to read wiring color codes. You will also need to be comfortable working in noisy environments.

12-Hour Shifts:
12-hour shifts start at the end of January 2027 (3-4-4-3 schedule).
