A leading medical devices company in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform test setups, validate machines, troubleshoot, and assist in preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum NITEC in engineering and experience in manufacturing environments. Familiarity with medical manufacturing is a plus. Job description

Manufacturing Technician (Medical Devices MNC) - Up to $3.1K #HKH

What you will do

• Perform test machine setup, validation, diagnosis of issues encountered and provide resolution of the issue
• Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration of test equipment, ensuring all activities are properly documented
• Support software verification and validation activities
• Perform weekly performance report
• Troubleshoot and analyze failure product (external/internal) and works with Engineers on the corrective and preventive action
• Streamlining of process as part of process improvement including documentation creation and update
• Support data collection/analysis for trial run and process/product improvement
• Conduct training based on identified test methodology/procedure
• Handle purchasing, adjustment and shipment for global site support
• Inventory/lab maintenance, 5S and EHS
• Support gas phase coating process
• Perform other / ad hoc topic assigned

Requirements

• Min NITEC in any engineering courses
• Experienced in manufacturing environments
• Medical manufacturing industrial experience is preferable (Not compulsory)
• Basic knowledge of E&E, able to understand schematic drawing
