Job summary

Applied Micro Tech Pte Ltd is seeking an entry-level Production/Maintenance assistant to support daily manufacturing and equipment maintenance in a semiconductor facility in Singapore. You will assist engineers with production tasks, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure products are manufactured to schedule while meeting quality standards.

The role requires lifting up to 15 kg, working with chemicals with PPE provided, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Job Description:

Production:

• Assist engineers with daily operational tasks in the factory.
• Provide support for one or more manufacturing processes when required.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to schedule and meet customer quality requirements.
• Comply with company standards, safety regulations, and safe work practices.
• Train and guide new employees when required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Maintenance:

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in proper storage and good condition.
• Support maintenance and manufacturing activities to ensure smooth production.

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
• Meticulous, organised and attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willing to learn and adapt.
• Prior experience in the Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication industry is an advantage.
