Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for Fan Blade Manufacturing in Seletar, Singapore. The role involves on-the-floor work across disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing of aero engine components, following approved procedures and 5S housekeeping.

Open to fresh graduates with a Diploma or NITEC and you will operate CNCs, furnaces, and automation under rotating shifts. You will read 3D feature drawings, handle various tooling, and contribute to a cleanroom production

Qualifications

• Minimum of NITEC or Diploma in an engineering related field.
• This role is open to recent graduates with no work experience.
• Able to interpret and read 3D feature drawings.
• Must be able to work on rotating shifts and overtime if required, inclusive of weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and testing of aero engine components and modules.
• Perform work in accordance with approved technical procedures and company standards (EASA/CAAS Part 145 or equivalent).
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery used in engine servicing and component repair.
• Operate CNC machines, furnaces, automated robots and process lines.
• Work in a cleanroom environment, operating a variety of machines such as bonders, NDT (X-ray, FPI, UT) processes and etching lines.
• Work in accordance with technique sheets and quality procedures.
• Implement improvement initiatives, up keeping of 5S activities and housekeeping standards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Technician within Fan Blade Manufacturing. As a Technician (Fan Blade Manufacturing), you will have the opportunity to cover several operations on the shop floor. These may include the use of various hand tools, gauges, fixtures, hydraulic or pneumatic tooling to craft sophisticated and high-precision hollow titanium fan blades.
