Job summary

A prominent engineering services firm in Singapore is seeking a Technician for a contract role. The Technician will handle preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of various tools and equipment in a cleanroom environment. Candidates should hold a NITEC or equivalent in Engineering and have hands-on experience. Training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for growth. Working hours are in shifts, and the contract is renewable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in equipment assembly, system build, testing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues on various tools and equipment.
• Support testing activities and manage assembled equipment during operations.
• Take responsibility for equipment, machine, and tool set-up as well as calibration processes.
• Execute accurate measurements while ensuring adherence to strict tolerance levels.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

Technician, Basic: $2400-3000

• Location: East
• Time: 7am to 4:30pm (AM Shift) / 4pm to 1:30am (PM Shift) Either one.
• 1 year contract (Renewable)
• Cleanroom Environment

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze electro-mechanical diagrams, technical drawings, and basic schematics

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, or other related Engineering disciplines
• Training is provided
• Hands-on experience in equipment assembly, system build, testing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
