Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a support technician to provide first-level support for manufacturing systems and assist with the setup and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Candidates should hold a Diploma in Electronic and Electronic Engineering or Software Engineering and have 1-2 years of relevant experience. Job description

Responsibilities

• Provides first level support for Manufacturing System issue (PC Hardware and Software)
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software systems to meet production and process improvement goals.
• Support the implementation of automation, software integration, and digital transformation projects, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and recommend software-based solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronic & Electronic Engineering/ Software engineering or equivalent.
• Min 1 to 2 years of proven experience.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and relevant software (e.g., MES, ERP).
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis software; familiarity with SQL, Excel, or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for both hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of automation and digital transformation tools or experience with programming/scripting is a plus.
